What does your daycare do with your toddler/child?
I was just curious what the daycare you send your child to does with them all day--as in routine, activites, and so on. If you wouldn't mind I'd also like their age.

WI MOM--Did I even mention that I was sending my boys to daycare?
Nope. I think day-care activities are great and would like to use some as a SAHM.
Either way. Why answer the question if you have no real answer?
My infant son (4 months old) attends daycare 4 days a week from noon until six pm. While there, he can play in bouncers, walkers, play gyms, etc. Also, even at his small age, they do arts and crafts with him! The other day he was sent home with a poem talking about how small he is now, and how big he will soon become, and on the bottom was his hand prints in ink! It was so cute and it made me realize that even at his small age, the teachers take the time to really sit down with each child and do fun things like that, that will some day mean something to not only him, but me too! Also, they sing songs, read to them, etc!
I am totally pro-daycare! It is soooo beneficial for both my son and myself. It gives me a worry-free day at work, knowing that he is in good care, and it also is great for him because it teaches him great social and interaction skills at a young age! And in response to some saying how all kids in daycare get really sick...of course they do! But all of them get over it in a few days. If you are that worried about having your child get the flu or worse, then maybe they should never go to wal-mart, or the mall, or the park, etc! There are germs everywhere. What do you think, that your kid purposely got sick because they were at daycare? Grow up, stop being overly-protective, and realize that kids get sick, that's just a fact of life!
