Which has better back support and is more water resistant Northface or Jansport backpack?
Old Northface was about best on market - not so much now.
Water resistance - depends more on fabric weight than brand - both have good coating systems.
Back support - has a lot more to do with how pack fits than brand.
Have some older Northface stuff - good quality but I paid for it.
Newest pack is Jansport internal - bought on line based on weight, volume, and Price!
Fits ok and I usually carry it instead of my old Gregory external.
If I get another pack anytime soon, I'll go to local shop and try the Odyssey Aether 85
