Great Keepsake item

| When I first added this item to my registry, I thought it was just a photo album, and an item in which you can have your baby's foot imprinted, but then I realized after I received it that there's more to it than that. There's a page where you can track the baby's growth, family tree information, information about the parents, and even a page on the baby's heart beat was first detected and more. This will keep me preoccupied while I'm on my maternity leave. It's just the perfect keepsake must-have. An ideal item for me. |

| Very nice babybook. I used different products to make footprints and they were terrible--this one was easy to use and clean. The book is also easy to fill out and it captures the key moments that you'd like to record for your baby. |
Very Cute!!!!!

| The only thing is that I didn't like was the page about current events. It should include more things to write about. Other than that its very nice and I look forward to putting all of my memories in this book! |
Super cute, but one minor irritation

This baby book is super cute with a simple contemporary design. If you're not into pastels and sugary sweet baby stuff, this is a good choice. I just received it and it looks like there are a lot of fun pages to fill in. The photo corners that are included look like it will give the pages a crisp finished look.
The only thing I was irritated about was also included in another review. At the bottom of each page, there is a "suggestion" for the corresponding photo page. It kind of messes up the aesthetic of the page and is a little bit insulting. I'm pretty sure that I could figure out that I might want to pictures of my husband opposite the page entitled "Daddy." |
3 stars, but I'm being tough on them just cause of the cover.

It is my fault, but I was under the impression that the book was fabric covered. Instead it looks cold and hard, not nearly as cute as in the picture. Could just be my preggo hormones. The pages are fine. It has a nice plastic jacket that keeps dirt, smudges, etc off.
I knew this going into it, but just know that there is not 'teeth chart' or immunization chart if you immunize- you'll have to paste your own in on one of the pages. This works fine for me cause I dont use the Hanukkah page so I just drew out a tooth chart on card stock and pasted it over. It's like a scrapbook so it works.
I remember from using it with my first son that getting a good un-smudged foot impression was no easy task...ended up settling with toe prints on my own scrapbook paper. Good news is that the pad lasts through many many tries. I'll try doing them in hospital this time when the baby's still sleepy and not all wiggly.
Over all it's a nice and easily personalized baby book that goes through 5 birthdays and all first holidays. |
