How do you remove epoxy from cloth?
I have a fleece cloth that got caught between my window when it was closed, and the pressure of the closed window transferred some of the epoxy sealant to the cloth. The epoxy is set, so there is no chance of really dissolving it. I really want to avoid replacing, cutting, or staining the fleece. Short of some kind of solvent like bleach, vinegar, or acetone (which will all stain), is there any other substance that I can use to remove the epoxy?
Removing a stain from something valuable is a job for a professional. You might check with a dry cleaning company, as they are often experts at removing stains from expensive clothing. Beware of the fact that it might be impossible to remove the stain, or that the cloth will be ruined as they try to get the stain out. But if you try it yourself, you are unlikely to have any better luck. Using "home remedies" is the direction you should go only if you really don't care much whether you are successful or not.
