What fabric theme should I use for Xmas Stockings?
So I am thinking of making my own Xmas stockings but I want to know what type of THEMES of Xmas stockings I should make that I could sell.
Like I saw some of John Deere
Crosses, soccer balls,, etc
What other themes do you recommend?
Well, I guess it depends on who you want to market too; children or adults. For children, I would try and do what is popular today, like Spiderman stockings (I know my boyfriends son would LOVE that), Spongebob, Dora the Explorer, Bratz, that kind of thing. I would go to my local fabric shop and just see what kind of fabrics catch my eye. Perhaps even ask some of the employees what the most popular patterns of fabric are so that you could get an idea of what people want. Make sure you do the classic stocking too, with the red plush and white trim, and maybe do some santa and reindeer patterns, just to stick with the classics. Anyways, have fun and good luck!
