I recieved and cashed my "Mystery Shopper" Pretty Clean Inc check for 3200, is it legit?

A $3200 from Pretty Clean Inc in NJ associated with Shoppers Viewpoint Research Inc based in TX,,is it legit?I had deposited this check on a Thursday and I have not heard anything that this check was FRAUD...am I covered under the FDIC if this check bounces? I am a single mother of 2 and I was looking at making some part time employment and I was told in the letter that I could make $500 a week for 3 months and $600 a week thereafter. When I called to verify what and how to do the Money Gram or Western Union for $2690 to their training agents, the "representative" was foreign and I had a really hard time understanding him. I just wanted to get off the phone with him, I felt so sick. I already have spent the $300 that was to be mine for training for the mystery shopping and the $100 for the "mystery shopping" that was mine to keep as a bonus. I was to go to Wal-mart, Best Buy, Lowe's, or Home Depot. My parents looked at it too and thought it was legit. What am I to do?

Don't spend any more and don't send any money to anyone who asks. The bank will eventually figure out its bogus. All you will owe is what you spent.
It's a typical scam. Don't western union anything or you will owe that back too. I know someone who got taken for 10 thousand dollars this way.
If you need to make a little extra these sites are legit. They don't ask for a credit card or try to charge you anything. But its only about $100 per week. They pay by Paypal and check. I have posted pictures of Paypal payments I received, as proof.
